ColdCurrent (“ColdCurrent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides frozen-food third-party logistics (3PL) services from Greenville, North Carolina. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at www.coldcurrent3pl.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Our website is a business-to-business marketing site; most of the information we collect relates to the companies and business contacts who reach out to us about fulfillment services.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a quote or contact us through the forms on our site, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your company name
- Your phone number
- Your approximate monthly order volume
- Your product category
- Your current 3PL or fulfillment setup, if any
- Anything you write in the free-text message field
Advertising and referral information
We run online advertising (primarily Google Ads) to reach brands that may need frozen fulfillment. When you arrive at our site from an ad or another website, we may capture attribution details from the page URL and your browser, including UTM parameters (such as campaign, source, and medium), ad-click identifiers like the Google click ID (gclid) or Meta click ID (fbclid), and the referring page. If you submit a form, this attribution information is stored alongside your submission so we can understand which advertising brought you to us.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you visited, and timestamps. We use these logs for security, debugging, and keeping the site running reliably.
2. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your quote request or inquiry
- Follow up with you about our fulfillment services, including sales conversations you have asked for or would reasonably expect after contacting us
- Measure the performance of our advertising, so we know which campaigns actually reach the right brands
- Operate, secure, and improve our website
- Comply with legal obligations, if they arise
3. Our basis for using it
We keep this simple: we use your information because you asked us to (for example, by submitting a quote request), because we have a legitimate business interest in marketing our services to companies that may need them and in keeping our website secure, or because the law requires it. We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to running our business.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site and our business:
- Resend — delivers form submissions to our inbox by email.
- Vercel — hosts our website and processes the web traffic (including server logs) needed to serve it.
- Google Ads — we use Google’s advertising tools to measure which ads lead to quote requests. Ad-click identifiers captured from URLs may be used for this measurement.
Form submissions are also stored in our internal customer relationship management (CRM) system so our team can manage inquiries. We may disclose information if required by law, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy would continue to apply to information collected under it.
5. Cookies and tracking
We believe in being straightforward here: our site does not currently set analytics cookies. We do capture ad-click identifiers (such as gclid and fbclid) and UTM parameters from the URL when you arrive from an ad, and we record them with your form submission if you send one. Third parties whose ads you click — such as Google — may set their own cookies on their platforms under their own privacy policies before you ever reach our site. If we add analytics or additional tracking in the future, we will update this policy.
6. How long we keep information
We keep quote requests and related contact information for as long as it remains relevant to an actual or potential business relationship — for example, while we are talking with your company, serving your company, or reasonably might in the future. If you would like your information deleted sooner, email us at hello@coldcurrent3pl.com and we will delete it unless we have a legal reason to keep it. Routine server logs are retained only for short periods.
7. We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Information you give us is used to run ColdCurrent’s business — nothing else.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar US state privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Access a copy of that information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request that we delete your information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@coldcurrent3pl.com. We honor reasonable requests regardless of which state you live in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
9. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
11. How to contact us
